Welcome to Edgewater St. John. This family owned and operated 5 unit property is conveniently located on the car ferry harbor in Cruz Bay on St. John in the US Virgin Islands. Edgewater appeals to independent travelers who appreciate staying in spacious, clean, modern units with water views, and having convenient walking access to restaurants, grocery stores, the car ferry, the passenger ferry and everything else that Cruz Bay has to offer. The National Park Service Visitor Center is about a 10 minute walk from our property, and from there you can hike the park service trails to Honeymoon and Solomon Beaches. The remaining North Shore beaches, including Trunk Bay, Hawksnest, Cinnamon and Maho are all accessible by Safari Taxis. All of these beaches are in the Virgin Islands National Park, so they are unspoiled by over development. We have plenty of free onsite parking for guests who want to explore the whole island or prefer the convenience and independence of a rental car. Aqua Blue rental car company is right across the street from us and most of the other Cruz Bay rental Car companies are located within walking distance of our place. You can also rent a vehicle at the St. Thomas and come over on the car ferry. We recommend All Wheel or Four Wheel Drive vehicles for exploring the island. Keep in mind that the car ferry does not run at night, and the last car ferry usually departs around 6:30 PM from St. Thomas. Guests with later arrival times usually find it best to take the passenger ferry to St. John and rent their vehicle in Cruz Bay.
